On the ground: Expo Construir 2026 and real estate’s digital leap

What we saw at the congress, how the industry engages with AI, and why immersive showrooms are no longer optional.

Context: the industry looks in the digital mirror

During the week of May 10, 2026, the Coding & Company team walked Expo Construir, the event organized by Grupo SG with support from Forum Proyecto. It’s one of those spaces where developers, builders, studios, and suppliers come together—and where the industry seriously discusses how to sell a project before it exists on site.

We went in with a simple question: how mature is the industry when it comes to moving beyond PDFs and in-person visits alone? The answer, in hallways and over coffee, was clear: real estate needs new ways to showcase, sell, and bring projects to life without friction.

On the expo floor and at the congress

The event combines a trade show with a congress that distills emerging trends. Two conversations on the program agenda resonated with what we’ve been building at Atisbo:

  • Market segments with the greatest potential — how to identify real demand and stand out in the pre-sales cycle ahead.
  • AI in the real estate and construction ecosystem — how to adopt assistants and automation without losing control of brand or the sales conversation.

It’s not about “adding AI for the sake of it”: it’s about shortening the distance between a curious buyer and an informed salesperson, without replacing human judgment.

What we validated at the booth

At Atisbo we build an immersive web platform for developers, builders, and real estate firms: navigable masterplan, tours, availability, and contact channels in one shareable destination.

At Expo Construir we were able to demo the experience live on large screens and tablets, and talk with sales teams already frustrated by:

  • static folders that go out of date,
  • standalone renders shared on WhatsApp with no context,
  • and scheduled visits that don’t scale when the project takes off.

The validation was twofold: on one hand, concrete interest in pilots and partnerships; on the other, confirmation that the conversation is no longer “if digital,” but “how digital.”

Next steps

We continue to drive Atisbo from Buenos Aires with a focus on performance, SEO, and conversion measurement for pre-sales.

If you were at the event and we didn’t connect, or if you want to see how your project looks inside the showroom: book a call or try the live demo.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to share their vision. Exciting things are coming — stay tuned for updates.

Key questions from this article

Why is real estate talking about digital showrooms in 2026?
Because buyers compare online before visiting the site. Developers need a digital layer that sells the project experience, not just static floor plans.
Was Atisbo at Expo Construir?
Yes. Atisbo joined the congress to discuss immersive showrooms, AI in pre-sales, and digital commercial conversion with developers.
